The Scent Vibes Are Off (for me)

There was a learning curve to using this product lol The first time I tried to use it, my hands felt AWFUL and like they were covered in sticky crazy glue. I learned that my hair must be SUPER wet to use this and I had to make sure it didn't get too much into the middle of my fingers. That being said, once I figured that out, I loved it for a more calm but very defined, bouncy look. HOWEVER, I am NOT a fan of the scent. I wrote this about another product (with a formerly orange label) that I'm sure the scent doesn't bother others but for me it has a strange pungent vibe. I will finish the one I have but will likely not be getting it again.

Definition AND hold that stays!

I have yet to find a product that will give me hold that lasts for literal days… with the bonus of definition. I have looser 3A big curls and some tight 2C waves, and I love to toss and turn in my sleep and sleep every which way, which usually results in very wonky curls in the morning (even with a bonnet or scarf at night). This gel is SO underrated. You can glaze it on but I prefer to brush it through. You do not need a lot! A little goes such a long way. But brushing it through and then scrunching gives me beautiful results. I used this gel by itself with no curl cream (I was tired and lazy), and it’s amazing the definition it gives by itself. In addition to that, the hold lasts literal days. I can sleep whichever way I want… the curls are still intact and HELD in place the next morning, and then the morning after that, and then the morning after that! Amazing product that I wish I’d found sooner. It does leave my head a little itchy, but I have really sensitive skin and almost every curl product I’ve tried has left my head itchy. Pleasant fragrance, and I’m sensitive to fragrances. The hair does need to be REALLY wet or else this gel will be a bit sticky. Great cast that’s easily scrunched out. Have only used it twice and it’s instantly become a holy grail product.

Dry feeling, needed A LOT of product. It’s a no

Sorry it didn’t worked on me. I have curls type 2b/c colour treated and high density. First time felt like I needed more product but it was supposed to be a strong hold so I didn’t add more and the result were no definitio and dry feel. So next time a put lots of product and it hold well but the dryness is awful and feels like papersand. I just want to wash it all over. Sorry it’s a no for me.

Texture:gel based Effectiveness:Very strong hold hence would advise to use a small amount first then add more if needed. Fast delivery and item is well packed/sealed hence no damage. Been purchasing with them for years, products are authentic. Worth the money. Thank you sooo much ❤️

Great hold

I was gifted this product for reviewing purposes. The in-style fixer has a great hold. When they strong hold they mean strong hold. I have mainly been using the in-styler for slicked back hair looks and I love the hold. The one thing I didn’t love is that it did make my hair crunchy. The in-styler dries and doesn’t leave residue but does make hair feel crunchy. Overall it’s a great product if you need a strong hold.

Perfect for curly hair

I used this product before getting out of the bathtub, rubbing all my hair with my hands and I loved how it turned out, it leaves defined and very soft curls, the smell is pleasant and the consistency is a bit sticky but it is manageable, I will definitely continue using it, if I I would recommend. I received this product as a gift from the brand

Love it! Been using it for over a year and it’s my one product wash and go styler! I just wish they made this is in a bigger size. My hair is fine coily and very frizzy. This eliminates all of the frizz for the first 3 days
