Saggy, Baggy and Unwearably Uncomfortable

The good: Thick cotton fabric. Waist is appropriately snug without binding and not so loose that it needs a belt. Fit in the rear end is flattering. Length is perfect for my height, 5'5", ending near my ankles. Launders well in cold water and hung to dry. Navy color is good. The bad: The crotch area is cut too short. When sitting, it cuts into my crotch so tightly it is actually painful. I have never had this problem with any other brand of pants. They are literally unwearable due to this. The fit in my legs is so loose, it is almost comical. And I have thick thighs! I cannot imagine a person with thin thighs wearing these. The fabric also stretched out within an hour or so of putting them on and everything became a saggy mess. The cut at the bottom of the legs is also a few inches too wide. I felt almost embarrassed by the end of the day at how baggy and unkempt I looked in these pants. Funny enough with how much they stretched out, the crotch remained painfully short when sitting. As I have laundered them, cut the tags off, and worn them (once), I cannot return them. Straight to Goodwill they will go.

Great pants

Love the overall fit and look. I am 5’1” and have a 37” hip so I ordered a size 4 based on the size guide. I feel like I could have sized down for a slimmer fit but I’m into the oversized look right now. I might try a size 2 in another color. The inseam is perfect because I’m only looking to wear these with tennis shoes. The fabric is great, yes, it does wrinkle but you could always steam it out. I stopped buying polyester pants because I’m not paying premium price for plastic so I understand the nature of cotton and I really don’t mind considering it’s better than polyester. I know the dyes can be harsh on your skin as well and the amount of water that has to be used to grow cotton but overall, I would much rather buy natural fibers.
