Adore with tweaks

Am I addicted or a collector? :) This is my second pair of Gazelles, but my first with a platform. My fourth pair of Adidas. Adidas have become my favorite casual sneaker after years of wearing Vionics and assuming Adidas would not be comfortable or supportive enough. I have high arches, and I swap out the insoles for Vionic inserts to give them more arch support but I will say that the Gazelles have some built in arch support, just not quite enough for me. They run large so I have sized down a half size from a 9 to an 8.5 and they fit great and look great. The layered platform sole on these is so cute and the tones of tan and green will look super cute with lots of outfits. Adidas (Gazelles, Spezial, Sambas) have become my absolute favorite casual sneaker, and are so comfortable, and adorable to boot. I can walk in them all day, travel in them, dress them up or down. Love them.

Overall very happy

These shoes shipped sooner than expected (which I appreciated because I wanted them before I leave for a trip), they are extremely comfortable, true to size, and super cute!!! One thing about them to note: the material that the tongue is made out of is slick so they squeak a bit as you walk. I’ve seen people put baby powder or aquaphor on the tongue to quiet the squeaking which I will likely try myself. I found that after re-lacing the shoes and tying them securely, it limits the squeaking a ton. But if this is something that will bother you it’s worth considering before purchasing. Overall very happy with my purchase!

Very Disappointed!

I love these shoes because they’re so cute and comfortable. But straight out of the box, they squeak so loud, you can hear me coming from a mile away. I wish I had gone with my gut and exchanged them immediately. I know several people who have these shoes that never had this problem, but had some people tell me to keep wearing them and the squeak should go away. Nope! That was certainly not the case. I’ve only worn them a handful of times because the sound is like fingernails on a chalkboard. People around me even complained. I had to stop wearing them. I’m so mad. I’m out 132 dollars and have a pair of shoes that I can never wear. I can’t even sell them because they’re defective. I have several pair of Adidas and have always been satisfied. I was unlucky with this purchase. Like I said, I truly wish I had exchanged them immediately. It’s been several months since the purchase and I don’t know if an exchange would even be possible? I’d be super happy with an exchange, if not for the same exact pair, something for equal value. I’m truly unhappy and very disappointed.

Bad warranty

These were purchased to wear this fall. After a couple of wears the leather on the back became discolored. While adidas is willing to give me credit for the shoes after I return them, the timeline is ridiculous. It took well over a week to obtain the return label them I was advised I would receive credit about 20 days after the return is received. It’s unacceptable to take so long, not including I don’t think the colors are even available any more. Poor product, poor customer service

Think twice before you order these.

I purchased the white/ collegiate green for my wife as B-day gift. After wearing them for 3 hours to run errands and grab a bite to eat she noticed the green color areas had bled off and and transferred from her jeans to all over the shoes. These were regular baggy jeans just like many other women are wearing with these shoes. The shoes looked like they were scrubbed with sand paper. Google Adidas Gazelle Bold Jeans and select images. This is exactly how my wife dressed and wore these. We contacted Adidas and sent them photos per their instructions; however, the warranty was denied because the defect is not covered. Adidas will not take them back and will not replace them. How's that for standing behind your product? How would you feel if you spent $120 plus shipping only to get 3 hours use before they looked ruined? Think carefully before you spend this kind of money on these. I would hope its a one-off defective pair but Adidas refuses to exchange them for my wife to find out. Instead they sent me a 30% discount code for my next purchase. How is this acceptable Adidas?
