Love these! So cute but definitely size down!

These Gazelles are adorable! They are even cuter in person! I was afraid the frilly 3 stripes might look a little too “girly” for my taste but they look great! However, they are definitely NOT “true to size”. I am Women’s 9 1/2 in just about everything but I purchased these in a size 9 based on other reviews. They fit almost perfect. (still a little big). But a size 8 1/2 would have been too small and a 9 1/2 would’ve been way too large. They are also honestly not very comfortable. Very stiff, but may just need to be broken in a bit. The souls were very noisy on the wood floor straight out of the box. Really squeaky. But a one minute walk outside on the sidewalk and that stopped right away. Regardless, these are super cute and will go with everything! I love them!

lucid red/ clear sky/ red

Ok so the color in person is just like the photo shown by Nord but I feel like no one posts photos (which I want to see when I look at reviews) so I’ve attached 2. Color is fabulous! Spot on. Now sizing… Addidas are wonky in that usually you need to size down but for these I feel like they’re very close to true to size if not very slightly smaller than tts. My left foot is larger than my right and I’d say my left is a 10.5 to 11 and my right is a 10. I buy almost all my shoes in an 11 post having children as they grew. I purchased these in a 10.5 and 11. I’ve only received the 10.5 so far but my left foot slightly touched the front of the shoe in 10.5 but my right foot fits perfectly. I feel the 11 will be better for my left foot but too large for my right. If you’re able to do a half size down I think you’ll be fine but I don’t feel you need a full size down. Also I have wide feet and these feel very generously wide. If you have a narrow foot it may not be your favorite. So overall buy your regular size (first choice imo) or if Addidas usually run big for you a half size down but NOT a full size down. The gazelle fit seems to be slightly smaller to me than the handball spezial.

Right shoe, wrong laces!

First, let's start with the gum sole. It's a bit firmer than other adidas soles, which (surprisingly) makes it a bit more comfortable on tile restaurant floors. The translucent sidewall is a nice touch. The lucid red color with black stripes and achilles guard make a stunning contrast that hits high marks in fashion for 2026. My only complaint? This shoe absolutely needs BLACK laces, not red! Luckily, I was able to swap the laces out with another recent purchase, the Superstar II (in black/better scarlet)... and now BOTH sets of shoes are ABSOLUTELY BANGIN'!

Great trainers, pity they arrived with a smash box

Great trainers. Comfy and look great. Fit is good and got my usual size. Although the trainers are great, the box arrived absolutely crushed. If I had got these as a gift I'd have not been happy. I did raise this with ASOS and was told that as the trainers themselves weren't damaged, nothing needed to be done. Not particularly impressed with that, considering the price of the item!

Not functional at all

I just don’t understand how someone is supposed to wear these. Maybe if you’re a collector and they sit on a shelf their whole life then they would be okay, otherwise the sherpa is black and dirty with the first wear. I think that’s why they are marketed as indoor shoes but I see people buying these as everyday shoes and I just don’t see the functionality at all. On top of all that they run incredibly small and adidas’s return and exchanges are awfully hard to navigate. We had to cancel the exchange and just buy the new size because we waited two months and the exchange still never got processed. If anyone working at adidas is reading this, you should really make the front and back of the shoes a different material that is able to be cleaned. By the way, the photo was after attempting to clean and I’ve worn them since then and they’re practically black.
