Very light. Patented leather seems good.

First Adidas Original purchase esp this model. On the box says for women but I don’t understand why and I don’t care anyway as it looks unisex to me. First glance very light even weirdly light. Sole is thin but not in a bad way, but more like you will feel like walking closer to Earth. The way it was packed lacked the paper stuffing inside, so the shape was a bit squashed or wide a little. But I guess the more you wear it will keep its shape. Patented leather looks good. I know the pricing is not luxury but the style especially Japan, should be a limited edition or feels special. It certainly does not, it’s just another shoe in a standard box. Regardless, I love the unique design anyway. It’s comfortable. There is support to my bottom foot arch which feels different to my other flat trainers. One weird quirk is, whenever I walk, the back of it feels like it’s about to come off and I’m walking pushing my foot more towards the front of the shoe.

Great quality, feels amazing.

I love these shoes, but it's a different feeling. I never had shoes that felt this way. The soul is more narrow than my foot just a little. I can really feel it when I walk but it's nice. it's all lace looking down at them. (looks like your wearing skates) A really nice leather on the sides with a soft heal. I've never had a soft heal shoe before. The laces really hold your foot to the soul without a lot of support from the side walls or heal. really light but feels strong, no issues yet, about 10 miles in. Lot of people notice them, the laces on top really pop. Funniest thing I've heard so far is someone thought I was wearing bowling shoes lol.

Favourite Adidas shoe

Purchased the off-white ones as soon as they dropped, fell in love, then came back and bought the black ones. These are exactly the kind of thin shoe I was always searching for and I now wear them more than my all my other shoes including the Sambas and Gazelles. They are very soft and comfortable, and I like the sleek, low profile. They go with everything. I will buy more if they release new colours.

Poor quality

Loved the look of these sneakers, but unfortunately the material did not hold up well at all. After wearing them only once, the hair/pony hair texture on the heels rubbed off significantly, most likely from normal driving. I expected delicate materials to require care, but not to show this level of wear after a single use. Very disappointing durability for the price.

Poorly made

These shoes are poorly made. When they arrived, the lining was detached (unglued) in both shoes. I guess it was not glued properly to the inside of the shoe. The leather was nice and soft as was the color, but for this price, I expected well put together shoes. Shoddy workmanship. I returned them.

I wished it lasted longer than 3 months.

I love the design of the shoe. I love the supple leather. I like the way it feels. I love wearing it. In three months, I wore out the bottom of the show under the heel. I received the shoe on February 20, 2026. Today is May 21, 2026. The gum rubber is not solid, it has cells. I've broken into a cell already.

Poor workmanship

Shockingly poorly made; will be returning, Inner sole not glued in properly and seems to be missing a layer. Never seen a pair of Adidas shoes
