Not as good as it used to be.
I've been wearing Superstars for about 8 years and this is the first time I've ever been disappointed in a re-buy. I wear these shoes 4+ days a week and, in the past, I would repurchase when my old pair essentially falls apart.
When I received these they felt like they were a lesser material. Felt more plasticky. Upon taking the insole out to add my own inserts, I saw that there were multiple threads unfinished (pictured) and some held together with masking tape? I've worn my last pair for a couple years at this point and they look like they have more integrity now than these do brand new.
The fabric is already coming off of the insole, showing it hasn't been glued on properly. Also, the arch support is lacking in this pair. I'm super disappointed!

wish i'd bought sooner
I'm usually not a fan of flat trainers but these are really comfortable and the sole is supportive. I was put off by cost for a pair of shoes I wanted just for now and again, but after a few cheaper options (not adidas) I finally bit the bullet and stumped up. There is no fabric so other than the laces, they're really easy to wipe clean (also not usually a fan of white trainers for this reason). I think they actually look quite dainty on too, which doesnt matter but it's nice to not look like I have boats for feet! Would 100% recommend.

The sizing is true to size and they are very comfortable for everyday wear.
I also love that they look amazing with both the white and black laces, which gives extra styling options depending on the outfit.

When I opened the box, I noticed that each shoe was packaged differently with black plastic bag and white paper. One of the insoles was slightly crooked, and when I tried to adjust it, it lifted up surprisingly easily (see photo). I’m not sure if that’s normal for this model, but the overall finishing felt a bit sloppy.
Even though I got them on sale, I’m still considering a return. I usually wear a size 7, but even the 6.5 feels a bit big. Overall, the quality just doesn’t match what I normally expect from adidas.
