Liberty Shoe is painful to wear.

Cute, but painful to wear. I am speaking specifically of the MJ X Liberty ballet flats. The fabric upper is reinforced with some type of plastic which makes them very stiff. After walking in them for a day a crease formed in the right shoe where it bends while walking. Because of the reinforcement, it is now a permanent feature that digs into my foot when walking and has caused a bruise. These just feel so cheaply made. Again this review is for the MJ x Liberty only. I have the same ballet flats in red and have had no issues with them; in fact, I bought these because I liked the red ones so much.

I love the LOOK of these shoes, but they are extremely uncomfortable in the place I would have never guessed; the tongue. It is very long, and the end cuts into the fronts of my ankles. It is painful even while I’m just standing, and worse while walking a short distance in my bedroom. If I try to flex my foot up and down, it feels like I’m going to really get cuts & blisters on the front of my ankles. Also, although they say these are leather, they really do not feel like leather. The edge of the tongue is sharp & hard, and the entire upper feels like vinyl. It does not feel like it would soften with wear. I’m not going to be able to wear them long enough to find out, either! So sad, because I love the style and the color I chose.

soooo comfortable and stylish!

beautiful comfortable perfect shoes! i broke the #1 travel rule and bought these shoes right before going on a trip to las vegas and all i can say is they did not disappoint! i took these shoes through the desert, the strip, 3 concerts and lots and lots of walking and my feet rarely hurt, i did not get blisters or irritation of any kind, and the exterior of the shoe still looks really beautiful! they’re easy to clean as well which was a big bonus!

Buy this! Maybe go a lower shoe size.

Had to order smaller size, I’m a 37.5 EU. I order sandales size 6.5 US and 7 US sneakers. This has a soft toe edge, 6.5 US works better if your shoe size is “in between. Go a lower size than your usual. As for the shoe itself, very subtle teal, blue, grey. Depending on the lighting. Fits snug and comfortable. Bought from outlet mall for half the price on memorial sale.

Comfy and Fashionable

I got these (blue and white) to take to Colombia to have another option besides my huge, comfy- but-not-fashionable Hokas. I am normally a 9 and got an 8.5, and they fit perfectly. I absolutely love these shoes. I'm surprised how comfortable they are with the low profile. I have a very high arch and am getting 10k steps in them, comfortably.

Perfect but be careful with the colors

I love these shoes I have them in blue suede and they’re my favorite sneakers. I went to buy the yellow and red colorway and the color looks completely different in person than online. The yellow is neon orange so unfortunately I will be returning this pair.
