Downgrade from the Originals
I’ve had two pairs of the original Wool Runners; as soon as I put them on I loved them - super comfortable and light. Only issue was the soles didn’t last, and after less than a year all the tread would be worn.
The Wool Runner Go touted to improve everything (including the thicker sole/tread pattern) on the Original so I gave them a try on a Black Friday deal. They feel tighter, even though the toe box is supposedly wider, and after a mere half an hour walk, they nearly gave me blisters in the heel (maybe the heel is lower and the padding too thick?) and my feet ache from the narrow fit. Maybe they need a break-in period, but the Originals felt perfect first try. I regret not just buying the old style for a third time - I just want my shoes’ tread to last longer than 8-12 months. , because as soon as it rains you go sliding around the place.
I think All Birds have tried to diversify their range too much and lost the essence of what made the originals so simple, minimal, and great, all while the prices climb. Just make the originals with a tread that lasts, and you have a winning product. Might be my last pair unfortunately.

Disappointed loyal customer
I’ve been a loyal customer of Allbirds for at least seven years and have purchased many pairs during that time. When I first discovered Allbirds, I was amazed — I could walk for eight hours in a new pair without sore feet.
Over the weekend, I wore my new pair of Allbirds and, unfortunately, the experience was completely different. After just an hour, my feet started to hurt. I was extremely disappointed in the change in quality. Not only was the sole uncomfortable, but when I tried them on without socks, I noticed an unfinished side seam with a hard, scratchy edge. It seems to be part of the seam construction, so I can’t cut or fix it. This means I can’t wear these without socks, which was always one of the best parts of the original design.
The key selling point of Allbirds was always the wool insole — while the shoes wore down faster than others, it was worth it for the comfort and unique feel. Without that, the shoes simply don’t offer the same value or experience.
I feel that loyal customers like myself will start leaving, and only new customers — who have never experienced the original wool insoles — will remain. They won’t know what they’re missing, but for those of us who do, the difference is clear.
I truly hope Allbirds will reconsider these design and material changes, because the original shoes were something very special.

Light as air and mold to your foot
Surprisingly comfortable and light. When I first put them on they immediately felt like I had been wearing them for months and already had a broken in comfort. I would likely order a 1/2 size larger the next time as the 12 seems a bit small vs traditional 12s so I would suggest ordering half size about what you normally wear. Outside of this though the show feels well crafted. Material is breathable, holds up really well, look fantastic and you can wear all day. I recommend the shoe and brand and will buy more in the future now that I have tried them out.

My go to lounging shoe!
This is the first pair of shoes I have ever owned that I can wear without socks. They slip right on and are so comfortable. My feet don't get hot and sweaty and the shoes never get that icky feel. When I work from home, these are the shoes I typically throw on and wear all day.
I have a narrow foot with a high arch, so I am always worried about support and fit. The sole had plenty of cushion and enough arch support that I am comfortable. The whole sizes only on this model did bump me up to a 13. I would probably never wear these for an intense work out or long distance run because of the sizing. With that said, my toes have so much space, but the shoe still fits snug on my heel. As typical with my narrow foot, I do have to tighten the laces down to get a good fit but not so much that the eyelets touch and cover the tongue.
A recent trip to Florida - I wore them on a short hike (2 miles) through a park. They did great! They are filthy now from the sand and dust so I am so grateful for machine washable that I am going to try for the first time!

The Comfort is Real!
Having heard rave reviews from so many people that owned allbirds I took the plunge to buy a pair, while it's only been a week or so, I'm finding them so so comfortable especially worn barefoot. I will be putting them to a test on a trip coming up, but these are the perfect everyday shoes for me. Usually a size 11.5 on sneakers, bought a size 11 and it's the perfect size for me barefoot, slightly on the tighter side if worn with socks but it's still a better fit than if I had sized up.

Disney World shoe
Bought these shoes based off friend’s recommendation for his # 1 Disney shoe. Shoe is definitely light weight and comfortable, but I was surprised at how quickly the inside heel has worn. The shoe fits nice and snug, so I don’t believe sizing is an issue

The ultimate travel shoe!
I picked up a pair of Men's Tree Runners before a 2-week trip to Thailand and Bali. I already had the Wool Runners, but I thought those would be too warm and not breathable enough for the wet weather so I tried the Tree Runners. They were the only shoe I brought with and they didn't disappoint. Easy to slip on and off in the Buddhist Temples of Thailand but protective enough for hopping on a scooter. They were easy to hand wash and came back looking good as new. I'll definitely be purchasing these again.
