Hot, Tight, not comfortable at all
Honestly I didn’t even like how they looked but I thought they would be very comfortable the way people spoke about them. So considering I don’t think they look that good, and they are uncomfortable? 0 positive things to say.
Plus the box came destroyed, with pen stabbing and pen writing on it. The cardboard piece that is in a fresh pair of shoes was just shoved in there upside down. Literally a 2 year old could figure that one out? The shoe had a leaf on the bottom sole fresh out of box,the stitching sucks looks like someone glued it together, the toe boxes feels very tight, I ordered the normal version and received water proof. I specifically didn’t want the water proof ones. Because it’s now soon summer and getting very hot. The spring board in the sole sucks. Terrible feeling if you ever broke a toe and had to wear a carbon fiber insole for some time it’s literally like that, feels wierd with the knees. Highly regret getting this shoe and being a sheep and following the hype instead of my gut feeling, and yes on foot in person they are much goofier than the pictures. 0/10 would not recommend

Great shoe! OC6 vs OC6 waterproof
My first pair of OC6 were the waterproof model. They were a perfect fit. Both the toe box and the heal cup/side support were snug. Wore them for a month in all weather types, nice to have dry feet all the time and not pain. I bought my second pair, the non waterproof model, the shoe wasn't quite as snug on the heal cup support but still felt good. I took off on an international trip 3 days after getting the shoes, they were comfortable but I needed to wear some thicker sox to keep my heal from sliding around, minor issue. bottom line is I walked and average of 20K steps a day over 10 days, mainly on pavement and my feet didn't hurt. Excellent shoe and I will defiantly buy this shoe again.

So Good!
I had some remaining money to use on an LL Bean gift card from a previous return, so I tried some shoes on in the Dedham, MA location while returning a pair of Hoka sneakers that I did not like at all. The associate in the footwear department was so very helpful, and although my size was not available, my wife ended up with a pair of these sneakers in a different model. But, I loved the look and feel of these so much, that I had to order them online as soon as I could! They fit perfectly, are very comfortable, and look great! It’s going to be tough to beat these when it’s time for new shoes again.

$150 for Garbage - do not buy
Complete Garbage- do not buy. Purchased new in May 2025 and have worn during two urban trips (no rough use or hiking) and maybe 2 days of light/normal walking a week.
The mesh top tore over the summer and the ankle area has worn through.
$150 brand new to garbage in less than 4 months and REI says that is the normal life span of this shoe and sees no issue with that. They will not refund or return and said I could try contacting the manufacturing company if i wanted any customer service.
REI has been my go-to for sturdy shoes for years but this time they sold lemons and wont take responsibility for selling a low quality product.
If the life span of a shoe is 4 months that should be advertised as below average quality on the box and by the retailer.

Footwear Return Policy Isn’t What It Seems
Posting this as a cautionary tale for anyone buying shoes at Dick's Sporting Goods - Sunnyvale. This would have been a one star rating if not for Xavier in Footwear. Excellent service and attitude.
I bought a pair of On Cloud shoes and within 5 days realized they were too big. The issue only showed up in real-world use: when walking downhill my foot slid forward into the toe box. That's not something you reliably catch by taking a few steps indoors.
I went back to do a simple exchange (not a refund). The shoes were clean and in excellent condition. The only visible difference was very slight yellowing on the outsole contact pads -- noticeable under their bright store lighting but not dirty, or damaged.
At first I was told the exchange would be fine. After further inspection, they reversed course and said the shoes were not "resaleable" due to wear. I spoke with multiple people (each initially identifying themselves as "the manager" before clarifying their role), and after a lot of back and forth the best options offered were:
* 15% off a replacement pair, or
* $60 store credit as a "no receipt return" value (they said this reflects the lowest recent selling price and excludes clearance).
I ultimately took the $60 credit because my time is worth something and I needed the correct size. But the key takeaway is this:
If you buy shoes here, assume you cannot test them outdoors -- even briefly -- without risking being denied an exchange. The 90-day return policy sounds generous, but in practice footwear appears to need to look completely unworn to qualify.
I'm sharing this so others don't make the same assumption I did.

Great Trainers- but sizing runs big
I usually wear a UK 5 and have slightly wide feet. I I usually wear a UK 5 and have a wide feet.
Based on reviews, I went a size up to a UK 6 for the On Cloud 6—but they felt too big especially in the toes area. My previous On Cloud Tilt trainers in UK 5 fits perfectly. I'd recommend sticking to your usual size or going up just half a size if needed to make it comfortable on the toes box. Still very comfortable, so I kept them and use them for work as a nurse!
