Comfort:insole is on the hard side, not plush. okay for all-day walking with no major pain or sharp pain. decent support for city walk but u do feel the ground more than cushioned side
Material:left side shows peeling near the toes end. outer material or glue isnt premium but visually already looks worn.
I wore this pair for 9 straight days, averaging around 20K steps daily while traveling in China. Overall, it did its job, but it’s not without flaws.
Fit & Stability
The upper mesh is breathable, which helps during long walking days.
Foot feels stable; no slipping or hot spots.
Shoe isn’t suitable for winter cycling, cause i am experience feet feel freezing (20km ride)

Comfort and Chic while affordable
I bought the white, cream, and green color. It is an absolutely amazing pair of comfortable, chic, sneakers while also generally affordable. It has a sturdy bottom sole with rubber and foam, that gives some stability to the foot, while at the same time it is cushioned for comfort. The design is also very classic and unique standing out from the current trend with other brands. I wish there were more colors so I could buy different pairs.
It would be best if the foam part would be more durable as I know it will wear out quite fast (but this is happening with a lot of brands that have the same type of foam).

Heels Broke in Under 6 Months
I’ve been a loyal ASICS customer for over 10 years, and I purchased this model in mid-2025 expecting it to perform like the GT-2000s from the early 2010s, which I wore extensively during long nursing shifts and daily walking without issue.
This pair, however, developed holes and structural failure in the heel lining in under six months of very light walking. I contacted ASICS customer service for a warranty replacement, and my claim was denied, citing “improper use or fit.” That is simply untrue—I have worn the same size and similar models for years without problems.
At $130, this shoe is not durable as reasonably expected, and based on my experience and multiple similar reports online, I do not recommend it. I will be switching to a different brand for future footwear.

1 Year Review
Yea they held up through everything. Roofing, gardening, new deck. Rain, snow, summer sun. Just went looking for mushrooms before this review. Even had a nail go through the side. Only problem I had with them was I had to reglue the sole to the body of the shoe. Generally I pick up a clearance/onsale high quality asic and most of the time they last a summer, these lasted till now. Nine times out of ten I wear a hole where my big toe is at, not with these. I give them 5 stars. Will I buy another pair? If I can find them on clearance/sale :)

Retro Look, Modern Comfort
These shoes nail both style and performance. The GT-2160 has a clean, retro look that works great for everyday wear, but they still feel like a true performance shoe. The support and cushioning are excellent, especially if you’re on your feet a lot. ASICS really got it right with this model—comfortable, durable, and stylish.

very comfortable trainers
I previously had the same but older model in a slightly bigger size, and so glad that I bought my usual 36. I am actually size 35 (2.5 UK), but in asics 36 is perfect. I size up for running shoes though. This version is like walking on clouds. They are a bit chunky looking on small and narrow feet, but even if you are not into the style, comfort is so worth it!
